Your photos stay on your device
Countlet processes photos and detects objects on your iPhone. Photos, detections and saved counts are not sent to us or to an AI service. The app has no account system, advertising, analytics SDK or subscription.
Permissions
Camera access is used only when you take a photo. Photo library access is used to choose an image for counting. You can manage permissions in iOS Settings. Countlet does not need contacts or location access.
Local history and deletion
If you tap Save, Countlet copies the photo and saves its detection result, selected categories, filters, count and date/time locally. This history is excluded from device backups and has no cloud sync. Delete an entry in History to remove its saved photo and record. Deleting the app removes its local history. Deleting a saved entry does not delete the original image from your photo library.
Apple and TestFlight
Apple may process App Store, TestFlight feedback or diagnostic information under its own privacy practices. TestFlight builds may provide Apple-managed crash and usage feedback to the developer. This is separate from Countlet photo processing.
This website and support
This website is hosted by GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical request information, including IP addresses, to operate and secure hosting. We add no analytics, tracking cookies or third-party fonts. If you contact us by email, we use your message and address to answer your request; do not send sensitive photos unless necessary.

Countlet is published by Ariel Guidi. For privacy questions or requests about support correspondence, email arieleddie1@gmail.com. We cannot retrieve local photos or counts from your device.
